GAMA Edward W. Stimpson Aviation Excellence Award
Awarded to a graduating U.S. high school senior who has been accepted to and will be enrolled in an aviation degree core program at the student’s chosen college/university.

Scholarship Amount:  $2,000

ICAS Foundation/GAMA Scholarship
The ICAS Foundation has joined with GAMA to provide assistance to students seeking an aviation-related degree. Eligible students are those who are enrolled in an aviation-related degree program, such as professional pilot, maintenance/engineering, or aviation business. The applicant must have completed at least two semesters in an aviation-related declared major, with a demonstrated ability and intention to complete their degree.

Scholarship Amount: $2,000

Whirly-Girls Scholarship Fund
Whirly-Girls International is a nonprofit, educational and charitable organization dedicated to advancing women in helicopter aviation. The organization offers 16 scholarships for a variety of initiatives and training in general aviation.

Scholarship Amounts: ranges from $950 to $14,000, depending on the scholarship.

The Aviation Youth Empowerment Fund (AYEF) STEM Scholarship Award
AYEF is a nonprofit that provides higher education grants to aspiring college students to strengthen racial and gender diversity within science, technology, education, and mathematics (STEM) college programs and ultimately the industries they join as college graduates. High school students of color and girls of all races and ethnicities with aspirations to major in areas of study that focus on aviation, sciences, technology, engineering and math fields are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are limited to students who currently reside in Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.
